Impact 11:15am service & house groups

Meet us in the Lakeside Auditorium East Balcony for the Impact Service, then head to a House Group Open House from 1-3pm. At House Group you will eat lunch, meet your student’s small group leader and have a parent meeting with your student’s House Group Leader!

We hope you can join us!

Hey guys!

Lots of you are asking for the set lists of songs that we played at Sandblast.  I ‘think’ this is all of them.  All of the new tunes are from Hillsong United’s new record, “Aftermath”.

Enjoy.

Take Heart

Creating a community defined by love.

When asked by the religious community in his day what the essence of his message was, Jesus responded, “Love God w/ everything in you, and love your neighbor the same way.”  In September Impact will take a seriously look at what it might take to be a community of faith that is known by our love for God and others.  Come ready to be challenged!  We also have the opportunity to welcome back our friend from Austin, guest speaker, Josh Riebock.

September 11th – “Know Love” w/ Bryan Jones

September 18th – “Show Love” w/ Bryan Jones

September 25th – Guest Speaker Josh Riebock

Today at our Impact services Shane Farmer made the announcement that he was taking a new ministry assignment at Willow, and our very own Bryan Jones will assume the role of Director of Student Impact.  Here is a note from Shane Below:

Impact Family,

It has been a great honor to lead this ministry.  However, the time has come for me to accept a new ministry assignment.

Long story short the church has asked me to take over all Discipleship-focused ministries of the church.  This includes groups and classes among other things.  I am very thrilled to build the arm of discipleship in this body.  As part of my role I’ll be providing in-depth bible teaching most Wednesdays in Lakeside Auditorium.  It is a familiar space, and will simply be filled with adults in addition to students.

Moving forward I am thrilled to announce what is obvious to us all.  Bryan Jones will be taking over the role as Director of Student Impact!!!  I could not be more confident that he is God’s man to lead Impact into the future.

I will still be overseeing Student Impact at a management team level, so my investment in this ministry’s success will not only be personal but also part of my job.

To all of the amazing Impact leaders and volunteers:  thanks for your loyalty over these years.  A ministry can never be stronger than the alignment and unity of all the volunteers and staff with the point leader.  All the credit to this great ministry season belongs to God and each of you!

Peace,

Shane Farmer
