This week we are starting our new teaching series Foundations. In Foundations we will be taking a look at some of the foundational history and principles that make up our faith. If you have ever had questions about where the Bible came from, the Old Testament versus the New Testament or the history of the Church then you are not going to want to miss this series!

Baptism is an important step in your faith journey as a Christ follower and represents the outward confession of an inward experience. Baptism is for those who have accepted Christ as their personal savior and want to take this next step in obedience to Him. It is a spiritually significant act where we identify with the belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection.

The definition of love has become so distorted that sometimes it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s not. God desires for all of us to know the truth about sexual relationships. Join us this February for a look at love from the Biblical perspective.

Impact Christmas Extravaganza

Impact Christmas Extravaganza! (aka “ICE” event!)
This event is for you to bring your friends who don’t know the true meaning of Christmas, or who are just in need of a fun time & community, to a special showing of the Willow Creek Christmas Eve service with Student Impact.
When: Monday December 19th
Details: Show up at 6pm in the lakeside lobby to grab your ticket for the Christmas service at the information booth. Right after the service, head to the garage for FREE Chick-Fil-A and to watch Elf in the lakeside auditorium along with a few other fun holiday activities. The event should end at 10:45pm.
The Holiday season is always a blast at Impact. Here’s a schedule of what’s happening from now until the new year!
Nov 27th – No Impact – Thanksgiving weekend
Dec 4th – Impact Service – Bryan Jones teaches and Brandon Grissom & Band lead worship
Dec 11th – Impact’s Annual Senior Christmas Special! The seniors take over the service.
Dec 18th – Impact Service – The regional impact ministries from all willow campuses join us for one massive end of the year worship service!
Dec 25th – No Impact – Christmas Day
Jan 1st – No Impact – New Years Day
Jan 8th – Impact Returns!

Depression, Homosexuality, & The Afterlife
You will not want to miss a week of this intriguing new series coming October 23rd.
October 16th -Willow Creek 36th Anniversary Service. *Impact meets in the Lakeside lobby and then we’ll sit together in the main Auditorium….come hang w/ us up in the balcony.
October 23rd - Depression, Cutting & Suicide - Guest Jamie Tworkowski, founder of “To Write Love on Her Arms. TWLOHA is an interfaith, non-profit organization which aims to present hope for people struggling with addiction, depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide.
October 30th – Homosexuality – Guest Christopher Yuan – While attending dental school, Christopher Yuan began living promiscuously as a gay man and experimenting with illicit drugs. Within a few years, he was expelled from dental school, imprisoned for drug dealing and discovered that he was HIV positive. But God has turned his nightmare into an exciting story of redemption, grace, and transformation. Christopher has an understanding heart and a desire to minister to those working through issues of sexuality and to those living with HIV/AIDS.
November 6th – The Afterlife – Bryan Jones – What happens after we die? How do we know? Can we be certain? Come journey w/ us as our very own Bryan Jones explores the subject of ‘The After-Life’.
